Domain Parking I will list in my opinion and rate them the best parking programs i have been involved in and also mention why parking it is a great way to earn money. Also why its needed for domains that do not have sites. Why park? What would you rather do leave your registered domains with your reg company. Or point the name servers to a parking company and earn money from them. I think its an obvious choice. The other benefit is your domain is gaining traffic and popularity which of course earns you more money and increases the value of the site. It is also a nice way of getting traffic whilst you develop your site. There are a few parking companies out there but experience has shown three that really shine above the others and one of them Fabulous.com is superb if you have a big portfolio of domain names. Normally you need at least fifty to park with them if you have very good ones or one hundred to basically guarentee parking. Saying that though Fabulous.com are happy to review portfolios of any size. It really all depends on the quality of the domains in the portfolio rather than the number. Search the largest database for used domain names The first program i will mention is Sedo, these guys have a majority share in domain parking, and lately I have started to see more and more domains selling via them. I do have one critism and is the pay per click revenue seems to be dropping an example. An ad i have watched used to be worth .85 euros per click which is nice but the same add lately is only producing .15 euros this seems to be a common discussion in most forums i belong to regarding Sedo. That a side the new interface is great and the amount of people using it and the volume of domains speak for themselves. A very professional bunch. I rate these guys 4/5 The second one i will mention is Afternic these guys have been around quite some time and many domains have been sold by them for people. They also have one of the best pay per click systems around. Personally i left them, they did not seem to update as much as i would of liked to have seen and the site interface seems quite out of date. Lots of people still rate these guys, so try them and get your own view. The site forum is not very active either which in my eyes is not a good thing. I rate these guys 3/5 Ok for my third and final Parking site review, this would have to be Fabulous. These guys are extremely professional, every email i have sent is answered quickly and they will even manage your portfolio for you. Making sure each one of your domains is being optimised correctly in their pay per click system. Their new program Premium 4 is unbelievely good, the pay rate on click throughs is extremely high. To join fabulous though you do normally need a big portfolio of domains but for the big portfolio holders these guys in my opinion rule the parking world on the internet. People with smaller domain portfolios still submit to them. They are happy to review portfolios of any size as mentioned above, it is more about the quality of domains than the size of your portfolio. Back to the review, the interface you get when you join Fabulous is like an expensive piece of software you can do so much with it. A small example of this is Registering domains, Whois info, Manage domains (Transfer, Push, Renew, Forwarding, Nameservers etc) Choose parking programs from a massive list of topics to best suite your domain (or leave it to them the experts as said before), Valuations, Sell domains, Research and so much more. Truely amazing stuff indeed. I rate these guys 5/5 I would like to briefly mention a forum that i can not speak enough about they also have a live chat facility and the more you post the more forum dollars you earn to spend on there site. The group of domainers on this site are superb in every way. They truely know there stuff.
